PSI has flagged my installation of Word 2003 as insecure. The patch that PSI recommends is KB956357 issued 12/9/2008. My operating system is Windows XP Pro SP3 and the recommended patch can only be installed on operating systems running SP2. Microsoft Update says my computer is fully patched. I downloaded the patch, office2003-KB956357-FullFile-ENU.exe, but the file will not install.

From the KB956357 document on Microsoft's website:
"Supported Operating Systems: Windows 2000 Service Pack 4; Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1; Windows Vista; Windows XP Service Pack 2"

This patch does not apply to Windows XP SP3!

I believe Secunia needs to correct their scanning program.
