A vulnerability has been reported in Microsoft .NET Framework and Silverlight, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.

The vulnerability is caused due to an input validation error when passing values to trusted APIs. This can be exploited to access memory in an unsafe manner via a specially crafted XAML Browser Application (XBAP) or Silverlight application.

Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code.
