4) Description of Vulnerability

Secunia Research has discovered a vulnerability in Nagios XI, which
can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting
attacks.

Input passed via various parameters to multiple scripts e.g. via the
"sortby", "sortorder", "search", "records", and "page" parameters to
admin/users.php is not properly sanitised by the "grab_request_var()"
function in includes/utils.inc.php before being returned to the user.
This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a
user's browser session in context of an affected website.
