4) Description of Vulnerability

Secunia Research has discovered a vulnerability in various Panda
products, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to gain
escalated privileges.

The vulnerability is caused by insufficient input validation in the
APPFLT.SYS driver when processing 6660D6Ch and 6660D70h IOCTLs. This
can be exploited to cause a buffer overflow via specially crafted
input data.
